About the Marketti Academy of Cosmetology

Marketti Academy of Cosmetology is situated in a 10,000 square foot facility, centrally located in Waterford, Michigan. We offer large classrooms for our cosmetology, manicure, and esthetics programs. Class sizes are small so that we can offer students more one-on-one attention. Our clinic floor is designed to accommodate 50 students.

Mission Statement
The mission of Marketti Academy of Cosmetology is to provide students with a quality education in the fields of cosmetology, manicure, esthetics and instructor programs as to prepare them for careers in these fields. The Marketti Academy of Cosmetology utilizes both traditional and hands-on learning environments to suit the different learning styles of its students. Instructors and staff are dedicated to creating an energetic atmosphere in which to bring out the full potential of every student!

Job Placement Assistance
Throughout the classes, we often welcome many salon owners and entrepreneurs to talk with our students.  We constantly work towards finding success for all of our students. Towards graduation time, our professionals will work individually with every student to create resumes and portfolios.
Marketti Academy of Cosmetology cannot guarantee job placement; hiring is at the discretion of the employer.

How do I sign up for classes at Marketti Academy of Cosmetology?

New classes begin every month. You can call us at 1.248.618.6394 to schedule a tour of the school, apply for financial aid or an enrollment appointment.

What are the Marketti Academy of Cosmetology's admission requirements?

In order to enroll, you will need to show proof of a high school diploma or GED, be 16 years of age or older, complete the application process, write an essay, and pay the application fee.

Does Marketti Academy of Cosmetology assist with job placement?

Absolutely! While we don't guarantee job placement, we do assist with job placement. We work with many salon's and spa's and we also have a resume building center.

What does an accredited school mean?

Accredited schools have met national standards of educational performance and is recognized by the Department of Education. Accredited schools are monitored by a non-government agency. We are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS).

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, Marketti Academy accepts walk-in clients as long as time permits the service requested.

What products do you use?

We use Redken, Joico, Pravana, Malibu, Olaplex and Design Essentials for hair services. OPI, Gelish, and ibd for nail services, and Image Skin Care and Morphe Makeup for skin care services.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes, we have gift certificates available for all services or in any amount.
